Detroit's T3, Wale, perform concert tonight to benefit youth literacy

Two of hip-hop’s finest will team up to benefit youth literacy in Detroit. Detroit’s own T3 of Slum Village joins with Wale are guests of The Dallas Nicole Foundation, which holds its inaugural “Edutainment Series” at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shed 3 in Eastern Market. The mission of the foundation and the Edutainment Series is to positively impact youth in Detroit communities by meeting them “where they are” by promoting and increasing activities such as mentorship, tutoring and health and fitness. The Dallas Nicole Foundation is partnering with The Massive Group to bring the hip-hop artists together at the event, which will include performances by both.
