National Diabetes Prevention Program in Detroit

The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) and DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital have partnered to offer the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) in Detroit. An hour-long information session will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, and the first NDPP meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23. Both the information session and regular weekly meetings will be held at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital’s Professional Office Building, located at 6001 W. Outer Drive on the hospital’s main campus.

NDPP is a 16-week program which helps those at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes learn to adopt and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
