Give and Get Fit

Rhonda Walker Foundation’s second annual event to benefit health and the organization

The Rhonda Walker Foundation will present the second annual Give and Get Fit Health Fair and Run/ Walk Sunday, July 29.

The 5K run and walk and 10K run will begin 8 a.m. at the Bank of America located at 2600 West Big Beaver Road, in Troy. Channel 95.5’s Mojo will serve as Grand Marshal to help kick off the race. Participants will be accompanied by a local marching band and cheered on by local cheerleading squads.

The health and wellness fair, from 9 a.m. to 11: 30 a.m. at the Somerset Collection in Troy, will showcase fitness and beauty-related products and services. Yoga and Pilates demonstrations will take place throughout the event.

The cost to participate is $25, if registered in advance. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Rhonda Walker Foundation, an organization that has been empowering inner-city teen girls towards becoming future leaders for almost 10 years.
