A 1956 alumnus of Wayne State University’s law school, Judge Damon J. Keith is an iconic justice who promoted civil rights and equality throughout his career. The law school recently held the grand opening of a 10,000-square-foot center dedicated to civil rights education named in Keith’s honor.
